Keeping Healthy with Vitamin B

Vitamin B is an important group of vitamins that keep your cell metabolism humming along, providing energy as well as resilience against stress and balanced moods.

The most common deficiency in this group is in B12, especially among vegetarians/vegans (most food sources are animal-based). Deficiency in B12 can manifest as lethargy and anemia, with other B deficiencies occasionally causing skin problems (rashes and dry skin, or cracks at the corners of the mouth), weakness and/or tingling in the extremities.

B vitamins are water soluble, meaning any excess will be eliminated from the body through urination. However, B and C, (another water soluble vitamin) are also stored in the liver, so just because they are water soluble isn’t an excuse to go crazy with them.

All of The Dose Bali IVs contain Neurobion, an effective combination of B1, B6 and B12.

B1 (Thiamin)

Vitamin B1 helps the body to release energy from food and keeps the nervous system healthy.

B6

Beneficial in preventing 100’s of conditions as wide ranging as PMS, heart disease, and kidney stones. It helps with the formation of hemoglobin, meaning better transportation of oxygen around the body.

B12

Along with energy benefits and red blood cell creation, B12 helps process folic acid. It’s crucial for proper nervous system function. B12 can also help with “mental sluggishness” and has been shown to help prevent the onset of Alzheimer’s Disease. B12 levels can easily be tested with a blood test.
