Immunity IV Booster

Immunity IV Booster

Zinc with vitamin C packs a powerful immune boosting punch. They have been shown to reduce the severity and duration of colds, and also can help with wound healing and with age-related eye diseases.

BENEFITS

Vitamin C is far more bio-available when delivered intravenously. As a well-researched antioxidant, vitamin C helps to protect proteins and DNA from oxidative stress, preventing illness in stressful states where the body is otherwise vulnerable. When taken within 24 hours of a cold coming on, zinc has been shown to reduce the duration and severity of the symptoms.

In a double-blind study, a group taking a combination of vitamin C (1000mg) plus zinc (10mg) reduced rhinorrhoea (nasal congestion) and other general cold-related symptoms much more efficiently than in the placebo group.

Zinc and vitamin C may prevent vision loss in older people by delaying the progression of age-related macular degeneration. Vitamin C may also help prevent the formation of cataracts.

People with skin ulcers are often deficient in zinc, as this mineral helps with the formation and maintenance of the skin and mucous membranes. Vitamin C aids in the production of collagen (the skin’s connective tissue), so the combination of these two ingredients can be very beneficial to wound healing.

Please note all boosters are designed be used alongside one of our IV packages, they cannot be purchased for a standalone treatment. For best results a series of 12 treatments is recommended, please contact us to discuss treatment schedule and pricing.
